  1. I am so sorry that you didn’t get to celebrate as you wanted. My husband and I always try to ask someone that we know is single to dinner for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Easter breakfast. Even when we go to my daughter’s house on Christmas and Easter, she is always open to having someone come with us if we have someone that is alone. Sometimes I don’t pursue it if the first few people that I ask already are doing something. Thanks for reminding me that I need to not stop until I find that person who is going to be alone. BTW, I don’t think you are whining. 🙂
